AN ENEMY DEFINED and GOWERLAND

Hello!

I'm back from an unplanned hiatus that was the result of a major pain flare that lasted weeks and a massive crisis of confidence. To be honest, neither has fully subsided.

An Enemy Defined is finally published and available through Amazon worldwide in paperback, Kindle, and free with Kindle Unlimited! It's about 70 pages longer than A Journey Unveiled and early readers have said that it's even better than Journey, which is great to hear.

Enemy includes the attached map of Gowerland at the front of the book and a character/creature/location/pronunciation guide at the back. I will be adding to the map as I write book three.

Are you a Supernatural fan? If so, can you spot the four references to the series, its characters and cast on the map?

I've been working on more blog entries with information on such things as the magical system, the creation of Ayandoh, and the goddesses and gods. I plan on posting at least one of them tomorrow (Friday Feb. 26). I'll be starting to write the third book this weekend! I don't have a title for it yet, but I'll let you know when I do.

SPECIAL NOTE:

If you purchased a copy of A Journey Unveiled prior to October 2020, you may notice that Lord Taron's eyes have changed from hazel to blue. That's because once my fantastic, fabulous, marvelous cover artist (Raphael Barrington) brought Lord Taron's symbol to life for Journey's cover, I realized that a gold symbol would not show up well on a hazel background. Remember, the pendants Lord Taron gave Lexi and Aeric have the symbol of the five elements (four circles attached to a larger, central circle) against a backdrop that's the exact same colour as his eyes. This is one of the hazards of writing as a "pantser" -- mostly writing by the seat of my pants rather than doing extensive planning. Oops! That's also why the above map of Gowerland is incomplete. I simply haven't come up with the other locations yet!
